Privacy Policy
LinkedIn AI Assistant is an independent Chrome extension by VisionsCraft (Visions Craft). It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by LinkedIn or Microsoft.
Summary
The Extension runs in your browser. Your LinkedIn content, leads and AI provider API keys are never sent to our servers. Our only server is a small license service that checks whether your license key is valid. Payments are handled by Creem.
Data stored on your device
- AI provider API keys (OpenAI and/or Google Gemini) — stored in Chrome local storage, encrypted at rest with AES-GCM using a device-local key.
- Settings and custom prompts — tone prompts, daily limits, campaign names and similar preferences.
- Extracted leads and send queue — names, headlines and profile URLs of people who interacted with posts you choose to extract, kept locally until you export, save or clear them.
- License key and status — if you activate Premium.
Data sent to third parties (only when you use a feature)
- OpenAI (api.openai.com) — when you generate a comment, reply or message, the relevant post text, thread context, recipient name/headline and your prompt are sent to OpenAI with your own API key, if OpenAI is your selected provider. OpenAI processes this under its own terms and privacy policy.
- Google Gemini (generativelanguage.googleapis.com) — if you choose Gemini as your AI provider, the same content is sent to Google’s Gemini API with your own API key instead. Google processes this under its own terms and privacy policy.
- Google Sheets (sheets.googleapis.com) — if you click “Connect Google Sheets”, the Extension creates a spreadsheet in your own Google Drive and writes leads and generated messages to it. It uses Google's limited
drive.filepermission, so it can only access files it created — not your other files. We do not receive this data. - LinkedIn — the Extension acts on linkedin.com pages you open (for example, sending a connection request you scheduled), as you would manually.
Our license server
If you activate Premium, the Extension sends your license key and an installation ID to our license service (hosted on Cloudflare), which checks it with Creem's license system — at activation and periodically afterwards. When you buy Premium, the service keeps a one-way hash of your license key together with your Creem customer and subscription IDs, so it can check that your subscription is active and open your billing portal. It does not store the key itself, your name, email or payment details; Creem keeps the license and order records. No LinkedIn data, leads or API keys are sent to this server.
Premium waitlist
If you join the Premium early-access list (in the extension popup, the Suggest reply panel on LinkedIn, or on this website), we store your email address and the date you joined. We use your email only to tell you when Premium launches and about early-bird pricing. You can ask us to remove it at any time by emailing info@visionscraft.tech.
Payments
Purchases are processed by Creem, our Merchant of Record. Creem collects your payment details, billing address and email under its own Privacy Policy, and shares order details (such as your name and email) with us so we can provide support. We never see your full card details.
What we don't do
- We do not sell user data.
- We do not use your data for advertising, creditworthiness or training AI models.
- We do not use analytics or tracking in the Extension.
Chrome Web Store Limited Use
The use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. User data is used only to provide the Extension's features you choose to use.
Retention and deletion
- Removing the Extension from
chrome://extensionsdeletes all locally stored data. - Order and license records are kept by Creem as needed for accounting and legal obligations. To request deletion of your data, email us.
Children
The Extension is intended for professionals and is not directed at children under 16.
Changes
We will update this page when our practices change and revise the “Last updated” date.
